West Midlands Cyber

Invest

Backing the next generation of West Midlands cyber companies

The region has a strong base of early-stage cyber companies but very limited visible scale-up investment. The Cluster is bringing founders, angel investors, institutional capital, corporate partners and economic-development organisations into a more coherent regional investment community.

The investment thesis

The West Midlands opportunity is applied industrial cyber resilience and supply-chain security: operational technology, industrial control systems, third-party risk, incident readiness and secure manufacturing, sold into automotive, aerospace, logistics and defence-linked supply chains. That is a different proposition from intelligence-led or enterprise-technology clusters elsewhere in the UK, and it is grounded in demand the region already has.
